Hartford County Bar Association Celebrates 2025 Law Day at Hartford Superior Court
Hartford, CT – The Hartford County Bar Association proudly celebrated Law Day 2025 today at the Hartford Superior Court with this year’s national theme: “The Constitution’s Promise: Out of Many, One.” The event brought together members of the legal community, government officials, educators, and students to honor the enduring principles of unity and democracy.
A highlight of the celebration was an inspiring keynote address by Attorney Natalie Braswell, General Counsel for the Office of the Governor, who spoke passionately about civic responsibility and constitutional values.
The 2025 Pro Bono Award was presented to Attorney Elizabeth McMahon in recognition of her outstanding dedication to providing free legal services to those in need. The Liberty Bell Award was awarded to the Connecticut Judicial Branch Civics Academy for its exceptional contributions to public understanding of the law and civic education.
Two outstanding Hartford-area high school students were also honored with the Hartford County Bar Association Scholarship Award, recognizing their academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to community service.
The Hartford County Bar Association extends its deepest thanks to all who participated in making Law Day 2025 a meaningful and memorable event.
