The Hartford County Bar Association (“HCBA”) is an active participant in the Connecticut Credit Abuse Resistance Education (“C.A.R.E.”) Program. The C.A.R.E. Program provides for attorneys, judges and business professionals to travel to Hartford area high schools in order to speak to junior and senior year students about the temptations and dangers of overspending, over use of credit cards and load facilities and damaging one’s personal credit history.
Materials are furnished to students in participating classes during the presentation to help illustrate the points raised in the classroom and to serve as a reference for students as they encounter credit card applications at home and in stores and retail establishments.
If you are interested in participating in the C.A.R.E. Program, please contact the HCBA Office.
