John L. Laudati Elected HCBA President
Attorney John L. Laudati, Partner, Murphy, Laudati, Kiel & Rattigan, LLC, was elected President of the Hartford County Bar Association at the 2023 Annual Meeting on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.
In addition to the election of President Laudati, the following Officers were elected: Michael T. McCormack, President Elect; Moy N. Ogilvie, Treasurer; Meghan M. Burns, Secretary and Kevin J. McEleney, Past President.
The evening’s keynote speaker was Hon. Vanessa Roberts Avery, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut
The Hartford County Bar Association presented three Awards during the evening:
The John M. Bailey Memorial Award for Public Service: Honorable Susan Quinn Cobb, Connecticut Supreme Court
Hartford County Bar Association’s William (Bill) R. Davis President’s Award: Attorney Thomas J. Rechen, McCarter & English, LLP
Judge Maxwell Heiman Memorial Award: Attorney Ashley Membrino Fote, Day Pitney, LLP
The Hartford County Bar Association is a voluntary not-for-profit association of lawyers and judges in Hartford County, dedicated to promoting public service and advancing the principles of law and justice through its members. The Hartford County Bar Association, established in 1783, is reputed to be the oldest continuously operated Bar Association in the country.
